Dr. Koech Oscar Kipchirchir
Drylands Resource Expert
Dr. Koech Oscar Kipchirchir is a Kenyan national. He holds a Ph.D in Drylands Resource Management, MSc degree in Range Management and BSc degree in Range Management all from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
He is currently a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology since 2012.
He has also worked as researcher in various projects addressing climate change and adaptation in rangelands of Kenya.
He has also worked as a consultant for various tasks on environmental conservation, rangeland management and food security and pastoral livelihoods in the horn of Africa.
Collins Omondi Owuor
Project Officer
Collins Omondi Owuor is a 33 year old project Officer with INADES formation Kenya (IFK), overseeing the climate resilient agricultural practices project.
At IFK he capacity builds communities on adoption of climate resilient agricultural practices which includes water harvesting and soil erosion management.
He holds 8 years expansive experience in environmental conservation and management.
He holds a Master degree in Energy Policy from University of Tlemcen and Bachelor degree from Kenyatta University in Environmental Science.
He has independently worked in different consultancy assignments spanning the conservation, energy research and climate action.

: MSC IN AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION Informal seed systems are under pressure from the commodification and commercialization of seeds through exclusive intellectual property rights, such as patents and breeders’ rights.
Free and open access to seeds is key to sustaining and strengthening informal seed systems so as to improve food and nutrition security.
I work with youth groups and women to enhance agro biodiversity conservation and improve livelihood of smallholder farmers in Kenya.
